On Sunday, 25th February, we enjoyed another important competition in our calendar. This time, it was in honour of our late Club Treasurer, Peter Busby, who dedicated many years of his life to golf and specifically to Club Ifach, for which he felt a deep affection for.  The event brought together a total of 28 players of both sexes who fought for victory in a tournament of a “four ball” format where the men competed against the ladies. Due to the unequal number between them, several men were encouraged to embrace their feminine side in order to join the ladies team……   In the end, the trophy went to the mens side, who won by a sizeable difference ( 5 ½ points) to the ladies (1 ½ points). And as proof that winning is not always the most important thing, here we have some happy “ losers”…..
