I am very pleased to welcome new players to our Club, either as a new member or as a visitor/guest to our facilities, as we are a members Club, open to the public.

The Club de Golf Ifach, being the 4th oldest club in the Valencian Community and the 3rd oldest club in the Province of Alicante is a true pioneer of this great sport. In 2024 we will celebrate our 50th year Anniversary of the Club – all the facilities recently have been reformed and refurbished throughout the complex – where we’ll look to the future with renewed enthusiasm to offer our customers the very best service.

In addition to a 9-hole golf course, the complex has a small practice area, 3 tennis courts, a large top level restaurant with swimming pool, solarium, a bar/cafeteria with TV, billiards and library, club storage room, pro-shop, office, car parks, etc...
The unbeatable views that can be seen from its facilities are iconic images of the Costa Blanca and Golf in the Community.
It is a great Club to enjoy with the family due to its variety of activities and facilities and has always been perceived among its members for being a "Club of friends", for all the social activities it has always been known for.

Our temperature is mild almost all year round and more than 320 days of sunshine are guaranteed. The environment is quiet, peaceful and very well cared for.

For all these reasons I invite anyone who is curious to visit our club - be they a golfer, a tennis player or just a visitor only interested in having some photos taken in these privileged surroundings - to spend a fantastic family day at our facilities. I assure you that you will not regret it.

Rules

Local Rules

1.- The Rules of Golf of the R&A Rules Limited and the United States Golf Association shall apply.

2.- The inside walls of the course, bridges, teeing area carpets and drainage pipes are an integral part of the course.

3.- Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions and can be removed without penalty.

4.- All stakes defining irrigation, ground under repair, hazards, out-of-bounds, and tee markers are immovable obstructions and may not be moved. Relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 24-2 without penalty, (this rule does not apply if the ball RESTS in the hazard). Relief may not be taken at out-of-bounds markers.

5.- Model Local Rule E-3 “When any part of a player’s ball touches part of the general area cut to fairway height or less (or identify a specific area such as ‘on the fairway of the 6th hole’), the player may take free relief once y placing the original ball or another ball in and playing it from this relief area:

• Reference Point: Spot of the original ball

• Size of Relief Area Measured from Reference Point: ( Specify size of relief area, such as one club-length, one scorecard length or 6 inches) from the reference point, but with these limits:

• Limits on Location of Releaf Area:

- Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point, and.

- Must be in the general area.

In the proceeding under this Local Rule, the player must choose a spot to place the ball and use the procedures for replacing a ball under Rules 14.2b(2) and 14.2. But, for the purposes of applying Rule 14.2e, the player has only chosen the spot on wich to place te ball once the ball has been set down, and the player has let the ball go with the intent for that ball to be in play. After a ball has been placed and is in play under this Local Rule, if the player then proceeds under another Rule that provides relief, this Local Rule may be used again.

Local Recommendations

1.- When teeing off, the ball must be placed on a tee or a similar object.

2.- It is prohibited to take practice swings on the tees.

3.- Players teeing off on the 8th hole have preference over players who are playing the 2nd hole.

4.- Players may not use the competition tees without prior permission.

5.- Each player must have their own clubs.

6.- It is not allowed to play without polo shirts or socks
